Site survey/Initial assessment

The engineer assesses the project scope, including the type of solar project (residential or commercial. Then, one of our site technicians goes out to the project address and assesses the site conditions, existing structures, and any specific requirements or constraints.

Design Phase

Our engineers take the data collected from our drone and 3D modeling tools and turn it into a detailed roof plan and panel layout—built for accuracy from the start. Every design is fine-tuned based on real-world factors like shading, local building and fire codes, and anything else that could affect the install.

Engineering Calculations and Drawings

Every project is different, and the engineer treats it that way. Instead of relying on one-size-fits- all templates, they build each structural and electrical package from the ground up—carefully, thoughtfully, and with a sharp eye for detail. The result? Plans that actually match the real-world needs of the project, not just what’s on paper.

Professional Engineer Review and Stamp

As a licensed PE, the engineer takes a close look at what’s already there—calculations, drawings, specs—all of it. Their job? Make sure it checks out. That it lines up with current codes, safety rules, and industry standards. It’s not just a box to tick. It’s making sure everything holds up before things move forward.

Client Support

The engineer’s more than just a name on a drawing—they’re someone you can actually rely on as the project moves forward. They don’t disappear after the first draft. They check in, talk things through, and make sure everything clicks. Sometimes that means hopping on a quick call to answer a question. Other times, it’s helping sort out how the design might shift things for the building itself. Whatever it is, their job is to keep it simple. No confusion. No stress. Just clear answers and steady support, so the whole thing feels a little less overwhelming.
